WOW Sports Changed To Vola Sports

WOW Sports Live has been arguably the No.1 App for streaming Live sports in recent months. But recently it stopped working and WOW Sports has changed to Vola Sports.

Millions of people started using WOW Sports Live when NaviXsport stopped working, and what an App it’s been. Many can’t believe that these Apps are free to use,including me. But recently we have noticed WOW Sports stopped working, with the only information users received was, WOW Sports was down for maintenance.

NOTE: At the moment it looks like VOLA Sports is only available on mobile devices. It does say Apps for Firestick will be coming soon. So at the moment it’s restricted to Mobile & Tablet, but people are saying it’s working on Android Boxes too. Seems Android TV (Nvidia Shield) is having issues launching.

In actual fact WOW Sports changed to Vola sports, and it’s working absolutely flawless. It has pretty much the exact same layout as WOW and works just as good, if not better. We don’t know the reasons why WOW Sports changed to Vola Sports, but this could be to avoid legal issues.

As we know Vola Sports gives access to most live sports events for free. Although they are links to channels broadcasting the events worldwide, we don’t know if these Apps have the permissions to distribute this content. So it’s most likely WOW Sports may have been at risk with legal issues, so switched over to the new App, Vola Sports. So if you are 1 that found WOW Sports not working or WOW Sports shutdown, this is most probably the reason why.

How Do You Know It’s The Same App

We don’t know 100% that it is the same developer, but 1 thing stands out which makes it quite obvious. When visiting the WOW Sports website, it auto directs to the Vola sports website. You will also see similarities between both websites and Apps which are pretty much identical.

If you were familiar with WOW sports we will show you the new Vola App below. Vola is admittedly a nice looking App which has an easy to use interface, and damn the streams are great quality for free live sports.

Vola Sports home screen looks as you see above. Live sports shown on that day will be listed and it will tell you the times they go live. Then when you select the game of your choice you will be directed to a page full of different links/streams.

These links are from a random game that was live at the time of writing this post. As you can see, you have a lot of choice. You simply choose a stream and content will start playing. If you find a stream isn’t working very well for you, another can be selected.

These various different streams are from channels worldwide. So you may find some streams are in different languages. But we have to give credit for the quality of the streams.

Is Vola Sports Safe

As we know, lately there have been different trojans/viruses found inside different Apk files. But we checked Vola Sports for anything harmful and the App is clean. So if you were wondering if the App was harmful, we can safely say at the moment it’s clean.
